Borrow the Look. Own the Ego.
ABOUT BORROWED EGO
Borrowed Ego was created from a simple idea: you don't need to own the look to feel like you belong in it. I've always loved color - how it transforms a mood, a space, a feeling. Experimenting with different tones, textures and styles has always been part of how I express creativity. Over time, that love turned into a growing collection of dresses - many of which were worn once for a single event after spending far more than I should have.
Eventually, that collection started to feel like more than just a closet. It felt like a concept. Instead of letting these pieces sit, I began to see the potential: what if other people could step into these looks, without the cost, the stress, or the commitment of buying something they'd wear only once?
~~ That idea became Borrowed Ego ~~
This has been built slowly and intentionally, with attention to every detail. My husband and I have worked side by side- using his photography skills to bring each piece to life and create an experience that feels elevated, not transactional.
Our home is in a quiet suburb of Philadelphia, right here in Delaware County. I've spent most of my life in Delco and this is the place I've always wanted to call home - and the place I want to build something meaningful.
Borrowed Ego is for this community, and beyond. If it helps even one person save money, avoid the stress of last-minute shopping, or simply feel confident in something they didn't have to buy - then it's doing exactly what it was meant to do.
